A small number of students follow an alternative curriculum involving Work Experience and attendance at the North Dorset Skills Centre for two days each week.
Most courses lead to assessment at GCSE level, although the school also makes use of alternative forms of accreditation for a minority of students, for example the Certificate of Achievement.
Towards the end of Year 10, all students undertake a two-week programme of Work Experience.
Full details of all Key Stage 4 courses are published in the Choices Booklet, available to parents and students in advance of the choosing process in Year 9.
